Who puts your business data at risk? There are four types of employees who put the workplace at risk for cybersecurity breaches. First we have the security softy, this is a person who knows very little about cybersecurity and poses a threat, by using their work computer at home, or by letting a family member use it unsupervised.

Next we have the gadget geek. A gadget geek, is one who comes to work armed with a variety of digital devices that get plugged into their PC, or connects to your business WiFi.
The squatter, is an individual who uses the company IT resources in ways they shouldn’t. The person who comes in to your office, or business, connects to your network and conducts illegal activity that could put your network at risk.
And finally, we have the individual who poses the biggest threat to your cybersecurity, the saboteur. This person will hack into areas to which they don’t have authorized access, or infects the network on purpose. Infecting a network with a back door into your data, is one of the biggest hidden threats there is to your digital business data.
